Quandoo Migration for Berlin Restaurants

We move your reservation system off Quandoo. Fully, without data loss, before 30 September 2026. Fixed price.

The Problem

On 31 March 2026, Quandoo announced that the platform will be switched off on 30 September 2026. From that day, your website booking form, your “Reserve with Google” link, and your guest communications all stop working. Anyone who hasn’t migrated by then takes reservations on a phone and a notepad, in the middle of autumn season.

Berlin restaurants are disproportionately affected because Quandoo is headquartered here. Hundreds of operations in the city face the same task, at the same time, against the same deadline. The reality in most kitchens: you don’t have the time to pick the right replacement software, the hours to transfer guest data manually, rebuild service rules, swap the widget on your website, and train your team on a new system. And you need all of it done before someone at the host stand notices the confirmation emails aren’t going out.

Postponing the switch to September means rushing it. Your regulars will feel that.

Our Solution

We take over the entire migration. Together we pick one of two systems: resmio for straightforward operations or aleno for more complex service rules and larger venues. We handle everything in between: export from Quandoo, rebuild of your service rules, widget swap on your website, reconnection of “Reserve with Google” to the new system, mail templates, team training, and 72 hours of monitoring after go-live.

You pay a fixed price. You don’t lose regulars’ data. And you run service in the evening without having to learn a new piece of software on the side.

What it costs

Setup (fixed price)

€1,490

Monthly care

€99 / month (optional)

Included:

  • · Export of your Quandoo data (guest list, reservation history, table layout)
  • · Setup of the new system (resmio or aleno) tailored to your operation
  • · Transfer of all service rules (minimum spend, deposits, peak-time locks, group rules)
  • · Replacement of the reservation widget on your website
  • · Reconnection of “Reserve with Google” to the new system
  • · Migration of your confirmation, reminder, and cancellation emails
  • · On-site training for your front-of-house team (1 hour)
  • · 72 hours of active monitoring after go-live
  • · Written handover documentation

Not included:

  • · Monthly software fees for the new system (you pay resmio/aleno directly)
  • · New restaurant website or website redesign
  • · Marketing campaigns to win back former Quandoo discovery guests
  • · Tax or accounting advice on the SaaS switch

How it works

  1. Step 01

    Days 1–3

    Assessment & Export

    • · On-site briefing at your restaurant (60 minutes)
    • · Full export of your Quandoo data as a secured backup
    • · Recommendation for the right destination system (resmio or aleno) with rationale
    • · Written migration plan with a fixed go-live date
  2. Step 02

    Days 4–10

    Build & Parallel Run

    • · Setup of the new system with your service rules
    • · Import of guest data and reservation history
    • · Parallel test with real bookings in a protected mode
    • · Preparation of widget, Google connection, and mail templates
  3. Step 03

    Days 11–14

    Go-Live & Monitoring

    • · Cutover on a Monday afternoon (the quietest window of the week)
    • · Team training right before evening service
    • · Quandoo silent-shutdown only after 72 hours of stable operation
    • · Handover documentation and direct phone and WhatsApp availability for the first two weeks

Who it fits, and who it does not

A good fit for:

  • · Berlin restaurants currently using Quandoo
  • · Operations with 30 to 200 covers
  • · Owners who don't want to handle the migration on the side
  • · Restaurants with their own website and “Reserve with Google” connection

Not a good fit for:

  • · Restaurants that only accept phone reservations (fixed price doesn't pay off here)
  • · Hotel restaurants tied to a central PMS (different decision-maker, different scope)
  • · Chains with more than 10 locations (please reach out separately)

Target systems we set up

  • resmio
  • aleno
  • OpenTable (on request)
