Process
How we work.
Our home base is an office on Schnellerstraße in Berlin-Schöneweide. With businesses across Germany, Austria and Switzerland we mostly talk on video. Every project runs in four steps.

First call, 15 minutes
You tell us where it hurts, on the phone, on video or at our office. We say honestly whether we are the right people for it. The call is free.

Quote
We write down what gets built and what does not. Scope, timeframe and price are in the quote before we start.

Build
We build in small steps and show you progress along the way. Before go-live we test with test data or anonymised data from your business and agree what happens when something fails.

Handover
You get a short training session and documentation that another developer can pick up. The code and the accounts belong to you.

What does a project with Half Square cost?
That depends on the scope. Scope, timeframe and price are in the quote before we start. The first call is free.
Do you only work for businesses in Berlin?
No. We work for companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and most meetings happen on video. Our office is in Berlin-Schöneweide; if you are nearby, come and visit.
Who owns the software after the project?
You do. The code, the accounts and the documentation stay with you, even if you later continue with someone else.
Do you use AI in every project?
No. Whatever a fixed rule can solve, we solve with a fixed rule. A language model only comes in where text has to be understood. How we weigh that up is on the page AI automation for mid-sized businesses.
